good thing Dota 2 is not a competitive game in any shape or form, really the only reason Valve is able to allow people to play it on Linux

I could try to be stubborn and say that I’m not buying The Final Shape until Bungie drops their ridiculous ban on Linux, but I know I’ll cave eventually

the answer to “why does AI art suck” emerges from its relations of production tbh. people not involved in artistic labor choosing to exploit that labor for personal gain create meaningless slop.
if people got together to remix art collaboratively, it would be a good and beautiful thing, but it’s done for private profits, and by people who have no relation to the labor required to create the works (they’re bourgeoisie, they don’t do the work, the workers do)
