The memorial at Monowitz is hard to find, and behind a convenience store, somewhat jarring that the remains of buildings sit amongst a modern industrial estate. Its connection with wartime atrocities unacknowledged but ever present.

It was totally splendid. It’s always worth going for a wander around the city to see what’s down the little side streets.

I deliberately chose a washing machine that doesn’t have an app. If I have to put the washing in and take it out, how does it add value to have to control it from my phone 🤷♀️
