Rhetorical question I know. But I seriously think that COVID broke peoples brains. And they now believe that they can Facebook or Google their way to the truth, not knowing that Google is now so far up it’s own AI arse you can’t trust it anymore.

I couldn't resist having a squiz at this. Certainly bears out their statement on the arrangement of fragments. Caveats: ball representation of the iodines is just what Pymol gave from an input .mol2 structure from Conquest. ie not to scale.

In the very early days of screening for inhibitors of HIV protease we had a hit that that was black. The more we purified it (Orange) the weaker the inhibition got. Never worked out what the active species was
