There is a basic fallacy that most Americans subscribe to...that the US is a 2 party system..
It's not. There is one party with two branches.. that's the only possible explanation for the senators who crossed the floor to vote with the 'opposition' .

I find it interesting the DoJ didn’t hand over a complete grand jury transcript given Comey is alleging Halligan misled the grand jury.
