Hold that thought - I've just watched the first few mins of Liz Truss's new YouTube channel. It's also a world of awful, but as it's only likely to be seen by tens of people, rather than billions, Donfantino should probably still take the prize

I don't think I've ever seen a more debased, cringe and hideous moment. Just gobsmackingly terrible

Shameless

(Accepting that it's a different kind of daily game) - one game of whentaken took over half an hour the other day; spent ages trying to pinpoint a place near the Iraq/Saudi border.

Really enjoyed it, thanks Robin! That's a couple of your shows I've been to now (also the Bristol book signing in the summer) and I've left both with a smile, enthusiasm for life and level of awe at your mind

Saddened and baffled at his failure to stand up to and distance himself from the far right. Morally it should be a given. But even politically - the world in which he works - it should be a no-brainer. I just don't get it😕

👏
(How many times did you check that sentence before you posted it here? I'd have gone through multiple checks)

Before someone working on the 1st MS spellchecker ruled that GB spelling of words like civili*ation used an S, and those in the US used a Z, people in the UK flipped quite happily between S and Z. It really didn't matter. So many people now say that it's the law, that I like to use a Z now and then

When I bought my place most ten years ago, I mentioned to a neighbour that I didn't like one of the flimsy internal doors. He sourced a nice second-hand solid wood internal door for me. I've still not got round to hanging it - it's been leaning by the wall at the foot of the stairs all this time🤦

Pesto from their greens? I've never thought of that, thanks! I've got a load that are ready to harvest - I'll give it a go
