Froglet army getting ready to go slug-hunting🌱

Froglet update - when I dug the pond last year, I secured a net bad half full of pebbles to the water's edge to enable them to clamber out to the long grass. Happily my froglets have pond smarts, and this has become their regular hangout. I counted 20 or so in this shot. They're still tiny🌱

First froglet of the year - a hundred or so tadpoles are almost there now as well🌱

I'm guessing (and hoping) that I have some damselfly youth - can anyone confirm please?🌱

Gig update time. Porridge Radio tonight at Marble Factory (Bristol) tonight were fab. Heartfelt, rocking, tuneful, felt warm on a cold evening. A night with a gig is better than a night without, and they were good. Short burst of vid to see the vibe. Phone was pocketed otherwise

Starting RHS Level 2 Cert in Practical Horticulture in a couple of weeks and starting to sort out course materials. After 30 years study-free, this promises to be good. Next steps: folders, pens, post-it notes and absolutely no procrastination🙃 Bring it on
