I've just started listening to this podcast by @tomrosenthal.bsky.social these last few days and it's a marvellous thing. He basically talks to you and me and everybody he talks to is interesting with life experience to pass on. What a holiday it is from vacuous celebrity culture too. Recommend.

In just 3 years the Standing Charge in the UK has tripled.
Some people are now paying 50% or more of what they were paying in 2021.
Just to have access to electricity.
It is a ripoff on everyone and it should be illegal.
