So now there's a by-election. What are the impacts of Troy Parrots hat trick on this?
The permutations and ramifications of Paschal Donohoe stepping down as a Minister and TD could be pretty major.

Truly, never a dull moment.

Initially took Pascal Donohue stepping down as a massive red flag. But the fact he's going to the World Bank suggests there's not a complete capitulation on the cards.

Plenty will disagree. But he was a wise head for finance. Far too conservative, but I think he'll be missed.

Funny enough, I have a dentist appointment in the morning too.

Sorry.

If there was one comedian we could wipe off the face of Irish comedy, who would you pick and why is that person David McSavage?

Germans have a thing for kids called a wimmelbuch. It's a book full of stuff to look at. Deep images of colourful scenes that grab your attention. It's all I can think of when I see the photos of the Irish fans giving it loads to Ronaldo.

Was just on Newstalk talking about Ryanair's boarding passes going all digital. I don't buy a lot of the furore around Ryanair on this one.

Yes, apps aren't for everyone. But printing is bloody impossible too. Ink constantly going dry and not working.

People love Ryanair bashing - me too.

This is a good enough reason to question why you bought a Tesla. Because your money is part of the reason shit like this floated to the top. Absolute tit.

The slightest bit of stressing his point and he fell apart. Rogan is hardly turning up the heat here

Nothing about the cocaine no?
Ireland's CMO says she’s “very concerned” about vape companies targeting young people.

While smoking and drinking rates are down, she says more must be done to tackle binge drinking and vaping.

Prof. Mary Horgan was speaking at the launch of the latest Healthy Ireland study.

My absolute favourite thing. People who think they're going to push off the plane. My hobby is blocking the aisle making sure everyone has time to leave row by row. Petty wins

Andrew lost the prince title. Makes him now a Non-prince. We can shorten that I think?
November 1, 2025 at 9:03 AM
Personally would have liked to see him kept as a branded reminder of how rotten they are. It should have been forced.
This is the Royal equivalent of the amputation of a gangrenous limb to stop the rest of The Firm getting infected.

An act of self-preservation.

If it was integrity, then they'd have booted Andrew out years ago.

They didn't.

My perfect Halloween. Went to the shops for snacks, got annoyed by the streets being rammed by drunk people in costumes, came home and watched Monster: The Ed Ghein story. Have beer equivalent hangover from sugar consumption.

I'm guilty of not using Bluesky very much. The posts surfaced to me aren't in my interest a lot. But is that because I don't use it much? How's everyone liking it here? Specifically #SpeirGorm
