For no reason, I am thinking of my grandmother's dad, who died during a shift at the factory 100 years ago.
He was emaciated and so sick he couldn't speak, but he still had to go to work. They found him in the bathroom, "lying in an immense pool of blood which was welling from his mouth and nose."

You need to be building out capacity. You need to be buying manufacturing equipment (incl desktop manufacturing such as 3d printers and cnc) and stockpiling raw material. You need to be capacitymaxxing and sufficiency-pilled.

Now House Republicans have voted to wipe out the guardrails that Congress wrote for how to spend taxpayer money. Trump and Musk could hold everyone under their magic spell—spend or shut off taxpayer money however they want.
