Finally, I had my first day of fieldwork for our NY offshore wind project yesterday, getting to steam out around Sandy Hook at sunrise made for some really nice views!

I then received a response on Thursday from one of the manuscripts I've been dragging along since my PhD, on my acoustic tracking of bonnetheads, which asked for minor revisions, and they actually are minor, so I'm very excited to get that wrapped up, hopefully it will get published this year!

My research currently focuses on the movement ecology of marine megafauna, mostly sharks and rays, in Peru. I am in a bit of a transitional period though (more on that to come), so I figured it was a good opportunity to do a social media makeover of sorts on this platform.
