Today was my first experience with tagging Striped Bass!
Finally, I had my first day of fieldwork for our NY offshore wind project yesterday, getting to steam out around Sandy Hook at sunrise made for some really nice views!

Hi folks, hoping to get better about posting in real time, I had a pretty intense but motivating weekand wanted to open a thread to share some highlights, starting with the tagging of a 2 m dusky shark on Monday. This was a study species from my Masters so I was stoked!

Hey everyone! Finally getting back on here, I wanted to share that I started a new job at Monmouth University as a Marine Fisheries Acoustic telemetry scientist. I will be leading efforts to document the effects of offshore wind farms on fish populations in New York and New Jersey, including sharks.
