This says for away league ticket sales we just get an admin fee (unlike cup matches). Why Blackburn gave us 7k tickets for a relegation 6 pointer in 23/24. A mad decision in football terms. Even their manager said the roar from our fans unnerved his team. But they wanted our fans ticket receipts

🤣 On that twinning with a smaller club could be a laugh. Like if a bunch of Owls had a day out each season drinking cider and watching the Glovers at a match. This is also an excuse to post this of my mate Phil

How hilariously blinkered the ex-MP author must be to not even mention the seats lost to the Lib Dems, and that 18 of their top 20 target seats are held by the Tories. What effect would shifting further right and booting out more centrist Tory MPs have there? Ed Davey would be gleeful.

John Harvard is still celebrated at Emmanuel College, Cambridge University in the UK. It would be a tragedy if the university he helped found was destroyed by an authoritarian intent on crushing academic freedom.

Labour are already massively ruffling farmers' feathers. It would be politically daft to now outrage them by flooding the UK with cheap US chlorinated chicken/hormone beef. Support for which helped cost Rees-Mogg his seat. www.thelondoneconomic.com/news/farmers...

If we're thereabouts come end of March with 16 Oxford, 18 Stoke, 19 Cardiff, 20 Portsmouth, 21 Hull still to play, I could really see us going into the final day just needing something from the Watford game. (That said Hull at least should be a much tougher proposition by then)

The British Veterinary Association latest update email to vets included this advice recognising the environmental risk of flea etc treatments. Surely at very least only use them if your pets actually have fleas. That alone would massively reduce use (and save money)

We felt driven to tell a staff member in the Acropolis museum we felt ashamed to be British seeing the gaps labelled British Museum. He asked mournfully if we would ever return them clearly convinced it wouldnt happen. We said we were sure it would. Keeping Greece's greatest treasure could not stand
