... there again perhaps the ones with years embedded in Labours left/right fights, where both sides hate each bitterly, also despise the Greens too much to shift to them even with an explicitly socialist leader.

Green Party works on consensus. I wonder if local green party groups will change. For their sake, might be better if some of the Corbynites stuck with him if them shifting to the Greens brought with them the approach to factional fights that drove people out of local labour parties...

... How well will Green Party integrate a tripling or more of members, many quite active leftwingers? Functional terms will need big investment in membership services. Next years conferences will be interesting given members (not the leader), decide policy, unlike other parties...

He's missed the boat, and the point which was to have broader appeal through sharing leadership. The Green Party's surge in membership shows many of Your Party's potential support has finally despaired of Corbyn and co stopping the internecine squabbling. Which is actually bad news for Labour...

This says for away league ticket sales we just get an admin fee (unlike cup matches). Why Blackburn gave us 7k tickets for a relegation 6 pointer in 23/24. A mad decision in football terms. Even their manager said the roar from our fans unnerved his team. But they wanted our fans ticket receipts

Reminiscent of the private school sector hysterically predicting apocalyptic levels of school closures (which havent happened) before VAT was introduced on fees. Lazy and poor journalism from the BBC to just accept the clearly self-interested line of betting firms as fact.

Good political comms if media debate becomes about "Is Farage responsible?". The more frantic the denials, the more oxygen for the argument, as the left knows to it cost in other areas. Planting that idea, while taking the narrative away from falsely blaming immigrants for everything has to be good

Commentators on the far right often claim to be speaking for a "silent majority". Perhaps she has bought that line through being embedded in the self-mirroring world of X? Problem is, this "silent majority" is so silent even pollsters can't get them to speak up.

Ooh yes, love that. For me Battenberg always invokes staying with my grandma in Beauchief, and playing in Millhouses Park. Now, how to get Tizer and Bassetts Allsorts involved too?

Yep, overall felt aimed too much at a US audience. A police station that looks like an old pub with desks in it doesn't help. Brosnan utterly unconvincing as a cockney West Ham fan. I like Richard E Grant but zero menace as a baddie - he comes across as a luvvie. Mirren, Imre and Price are decent.

I know its intended as negative but I doubt it'll do her any harm at all. Just underlines she's a normal person, and undermines sneery claims Labour is all Islington-elitists

Having Chansiri's selfish idiocy publicised to a huge international audience via the Wrexham disney documentary would surely bring a new level of pressure and humiliation for him. Everything helps.

🤣 On that twinning with a smaller club could be a laugh. Like if a bunch of Owls had a day out each season drinking cider and watching the Glovers at a match. This is also an excuse to post this of my mate Phil

Yes, tbf wolves are more dangerous than coyotes, but human attacks remain very rare. As with bears, where an individual poses a threat it will need dealing with. More generally there are approaches involving hazing predators (incl chasing with drones) to make them more scared of people/areas

Very rarely attack people, nearly always run away. Only 2 fatal attacks in US/Canada recorded ever. You're far more likely to be killed by a cow or bees... that said my US friends keep their pets in at night. And as with bears, dont leave food out for them as that risks habituation to people.
