Today my partner @gpb82.bsky.social took our kids to the Palestine protest in Sydney. I protested with fellow academics at @aomconnect.bsky.social in Copenhagen #AoM2025. I was reminded that exactly 1 year ago my whole family also marched for Gaza. This shit has gone on for too long #StopTheGenocide
A resolution by the ILO’s regional staff union, which was supported by nearly 80% of the members, warned that “relocation risks sending mixed signals to constituents and normalising weak labour standards in a region dominated by migrant workers with limited effective rights”.

With moderate CO2 emissions, the tipping point will be reached at around 2063. With high emissions, the collapse could begin as early as 2055.

This leads to additional sea level rise, more storm surges, and agricultural yields will decrease by about 1/3. And all of that will last for centuries.
