In the mid 1860s, a young Octavia Farmbrough started a project. She'd ask local people questions and record their responses in a scrapbook. There are hundreds of pages filled out with these responses that give a glimpse into the interests of these Victorians, and we're very lucky to have it today.

Old trees are frickin ace. If I had my time again I would love to be a tree historian. This oak stands at the Gate of the Dead in Wrexham. It’s thought to be over 1200 years old. It was the site of a battle btn the English and Wales in 1165. I wonder what other small&big things it been witness too.
