This is how you suppress voter turnout. If everyone is too afraid to even go to a polling place then it doesn’t even matter if you don’t have a rule about voter ID in place.
I don’t think people quite understand that the occupation by ICE in the Twin Cities has more or less erased non-white people from public life. They cannot safely exist in any space accessible to the public and moving between private places leaves folks vulnerable to kidnapping by armed masked goons.

I’m tired of the “respectfully dissent” language. There is not respect due anymore.
As Justice Kagan begins her dissent by pointing out, what is even the point of trial, of fact-finding, of clear error, of standards of review, when the Supreme Court simply ignores every single part of that and decides everything purely on the papers without any real consideration of the facts?

This guy has literally said he had no clue about multiple people he gave pardons to (including just in the last few days!), so maybe this isn’t a door he wants to open?
