@marrez76.bsky.social
Im here on Bluesky to spread the gospel of efficiency - more with less- more bang for the buck - anywhere where it is needed.
The NYT ...lol
The US has a $36T deficit.
Some folks/ pundits dont want to cut/reform ANYTHING.

Entilements...(even thought that's where most of the deficit comes from -POTUS also against)

Defense......(wE cAnT- rUsSiA/China/mIdDlE eAsT)

Nah the real story is the findings (Politico for example)from DOGE.
The best disinfectant is daylight.
Squirrel Alert!

The US is not taking over Gaza.
Musk is taking over NOAA and the Department of Labor.

Let's not miss the real story, one that will affect Americans.

The public sector needs to be much more efficient to make up for the fact the current administration wont touch entitlements. So be it. Buy themselves and everyone more time with a $35T+ deficit and higher borrowing costs. Efficiency, streamlining has to start now. Some will cry aUsTeRiTy.
The idea is to gut the civil service. Anyone who thinks they have a reasonable chance of finding new employment without having to move will consider taking the offer. We will lose so much expertise, government will become incredibly inefficient.
Why is the media misreporting the resignation offer as a buyout? It is a threat to fire them at any point unless they choose to resign. If they choose resign they can continue to work remotely and have a job until September. Not a buyout. A chance to exit with dignity. That’s all.

I dont think most people/consumers would time their purchasing decisions based on tariffs. Especially electronics.
The softness in attributes with the rise in inflation expectations leaves the Fed on the sidelines in policy purgatory - pause. Wait and see mode. Buying ahead of tariffs could boost spending on vehicles & electronics but push vehicle prices higher.

"destruction" vs efficiency

Some prefer less with more, not
more with less
No Savings
Some prefer less bang for the buck
you know what this wholesale destruction of the federal bureaucracy reminds me of? “Debaathification!” it reminds me of the immediate aftermath of the Iraq war or rather the beginning of the occupation.

Tariffs are not the only 'tax' that get passed-on. Almost no CEO/CFO would publicly say that these other expenses get passed on indirectly to the consumer and labor.
Higher min wage
Corporate/business taxes
Gas tax
etc
etc
You're now going to pay more for coffee (because tariff tax, not just drought) and that is supposed to make Colombia accept US deportation flights.
