Second piece. Forgot I was making toast. My toaster takes like ten minutes to toast to a golden brown, so I forgot for at least fifteen minutes.

First piece. Dropped it when I took it out of the toaster. Which, normally, who cares, I’m not picky. Only it landed upside down, revealing the second, mouldy side of the bread.

Just under three years ago, I bought a space heater with a five year warranty. It's a good one. It's made of steel!
Over the past couple of weeks, it has started to conk out. It used to pump out heat like a blast furnace, but now it's more like a summer breeze.

I wake up every day with a song in my head. Today it was Don’t Stop ’til You Get Enough by Michael Jackson.
Some days I also have a word or phrase rolling around. Today that was "foul brine of the bovine breast."

I moved from Vancouver to Ottawa 18 years ago and was so happy to trade endless rain for blue skies and mountains of snow. Even when it meant 56 cm falling 10 days before the first day of our first spring. Now cold and crisp has been replaced by damp and dreary and I am not pleased.

Spilling that bottle of all over my dining table dampened my enthusiasm for this little exercise somewhat. That Vibe is gorgeous though, phew #dec16/17/18
