I don't think people realize that Medicaid is a lifeline for working parents who can't afford to cover their children through their employer. Many employers pass through the ENTIRE cost for dependents and spouses and it's exhorbitant.
there are a lot of kids on medicaid in rural areas who had no say in this, and they’re going to suffer. i don’t think you need to cosign the suffering of rural america with all this stuff (even though i get the urge), but you also can’t stop it, it’s coming either way now.
