Aspiring playwright, music lover (favourite genre is Rock but I like most music), football supporter (Everton), happily married.
I only use Whatsapp with people I know irl. This and Facebook are the only social media I use and that's unlikely to change.
We did a lot of walking on holiday. Maybe going to the gym four days after getting home was a little ambitious! I'm ready for the three B's - beer, brandy, and bed. Probably in that order but it's open to negotiation!

This cold weather is no good for my minuscule bladder!

I'll save you the bother - too much information!

Bus pass arrived today. It's beginning to feel real - just a few days till I become an old fart (but not a boring one!).

Katy Perry, AO Arena Manchester, October 2025. Yes, that's right - I went to see Graham Nash one night and Katy Perry the next. Safe to say I've got a wide taste in music!

The first photograph is Goldie Boutilier, support act. She was good.

Grassington, October 2025. An old school friend was starring in a play so my wife and I made a day of it.

"Before Brexit we didn't have a small boats problem because we had 27 return agreements with EU countries and we could return people"

-Maybe we should call them Farage's Brexit Boats

According to BBC Radio 4 Autumn starts at 7.19 pm today. I knew it started on the equinox but didn't realise it could be timed so precisely.

Haircut this morning.

Her: Any plans today?
Me: Chris Difford tonight. He's a member of Squeeze.
H: Never heard of them.

The conversation switched to outdoor concerts.

Me: I saw The Who at Knowsley Hall years ago. Rained all day. I got soaked.
Her: My mum went to that concert.

I feel old.

A vegetarian sitting in the Clubview area at #Everton today will have been upset when (s)he bit into my chicken pie - even more upset than I was when I bit into his/her cheese and onion pie!

Maybe I should stick to hot dogs in future. Surely they can't get those wrong! 😆

#Everton have given me £20 to spend on food at today's match. At Everton's prices that should just about cover a chicken pie, a doughnut, and a cup of black coffee.

Mansfield Town had a player called Louis Reed playing for them last night. I wasn't aware of him taking a walk on the wild side.
