…the kids a bedtime folktales story of how Taliesin came to be (greatest of the Welsh poets) from 1400 years ago and it turns out…. magic was real!!! You had it spot on :)

Just listening to the audiobook of Human Kind - A Hopeful History recommended to me by @hatmanalchemy.bsky.social which uses science and facts to prove the exact opposite. It’s the ordinary people who shine in a crisis.

Painting fun with the kids! I showed my 8 year old a Mondrian and told her it was all painted freehand and she said
“Wow, how did she do that?” Love that she assumed the artist was a woman :)

In a moment of synchronicity with the US election I’ve been listening to the audiobook of Ursula K. Le Guin - Eye of the Heron. It’s about two binary opposing sides in isolation, exiled on another world, heading to an inevitable confrontation. It’s about violence and non-violence. Deeply moving.
