I see the BBC has started equally reporting white British "accidentally released" prisoners with such prisoners who are immigrants, after the hypocrisy was pointed out.

No doubt we'll soon see this chart wheeled out to justify why they didn't start covering such incidents until now.

From the country that brought you such PSAs as "the only person who can stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun", and "the only way to stop school shootings is to arm the teachers."

When I've asked this directly to journalists, I've been pointed to Scottish subsamples in UK polls. To whom I say, are you actually serious?

Honestly, the most shocking aspect of this story is the role NHS management and colleagues play in the racist abuse of nurses.

There's no doubt that NYC is wildly expensive to live in, even by London standards, but this sort of piece always has an 'other shoe dropping' moment.

I'm pretty sure routinely flying to Japan and back is a big part of your problem.

The lack of self-awareness is mad. Everything Starmer's Labour has done to this point has been bouncing, frantically, from one politically toxic line to the next.

But sure, it'll be the soft left that lose them support.

Most Britons think Brexit has been a failure, including the overwhelming majority of voters who put Labour in power last year, and you want to go about telling them they're wrong to appease a coalition of voters who didn't vote for you and/or are literally dead?

Labour call the SNP "tired and incompetent", which the public agree with. But one thing they're more likely to think is that Labour aren't ready to replace them, so where does that get you?
