This is a story that fascinated me when I first heard about it, and speaking to Liam it is clear his family were let down by the Scottish legal system after his aunt's death. 83 years later, he believes he knows who murdered her.

The GAA only owns one piece of land outside of Ireland and it's a derelict field in Scotland that has been ravaged by Japanese knotweed. Scotland GAA has big plans for its future.

Enjoyed this by @markmcdougall.bsky.social. As one of Glasgow's many sons of Irish descent (for lack of a better phrase beyond "Irish Catholic"), it always struck me how little celebration we had of that heritage.

The reason is centuries of sectarianism. But we are, or should be, well past that.
