The most horrendous, harmful stuff I've seen on social media this year has been the countless atrocities carried out by Israel and supported by its Western allies, like us. I would have opted for more pressure to end that, instead of just banning the ability for kids to become aware of the horror.

i think the part of all this that's been so hard to accept and has been so emotionally devastating is that even the ability to pretend that this country's ideas of equal protection and that "no one is above the law" are real is impossible because they're being refuted by our institutions
