I personally find her remarks about people taking the wrong lessons from holocaust education even more outrageous.

According to her, taking from that the lesson that it's wrong for a powerful party to oppress/murder a weaker party is wrong.

The lesson we should get from Holocaust education must be then that we (the US and its allies) are perpetually on the side of right. And I can see why someone in govt might find that attractive but intellectually anyone must be able to see that isn't necessarily so.
