We also used that lower right concept as the entry lobby to the mall, a large wooded recreation area in the saucer.

I also drew the kick ass movie poster for it.

The planet Venus you say?

The other one was called “The Pet Shop” and it later became Roddenberry’s series pilot “Planet Earth” and then later TNG’s “Angel One”.

The Lorelei Signal is probably based on one of no less than two femdom synopses in Roddenberry’s 1964 pitch document “Star Trek Is…” called “The Venus Planet”. #tossatnight #tassatnight

It's also pointing right behind it's first appearance on a Klingon bridge in "Elaan of Troyius".

Loosely translated? Lol. It literally says "Go back or die". In English.

Honestly? I like it. "Mandel Script", as it's called, is prettier and more refined and looks more like the script Matt Jefferies designed for the D7 livery. And yes, the Klingon emblem is meant to point to the right instead of upward. SNW should adopt that too.

Here's something I noticed on my rewatch of "Shuttle to Kenfori". The Klingon transmission ↖️ uses and old fan made alphabet created by Geoffrey Mandel for the "U.S.S. Enterprise Officer's Manual" published in 1980 ↗️ instead of "pIqaD"↙️ which has been the official Klingon alphabet since TMP.↘️

There is only “reduce transparency” in accessibility which I have on now. That’s “reduced” if you can believe it.

Here’s the whole photo.

Took this pic myself. Tilt shifted the perspective in Photoshop. Luck you, you’re not on OS 26 yet.

Hey! No one told me President Roslin was in Sneakers!

LOL, I saw this literally while this was playing on the TV.

Don’t forget the Kenner action figures.

Here's a still from the footage OTOY is probably working off of. You can see that the model is an earlier version of the ship than the one OTOY rendered. There's also so much more stuff in the rafters and on the floor. And then there's the guy on the floor physically rotating the model.

We worry about AI slop muddying the waters, but OTOY's renderings are being passed around as historical photos. Not really their fault, but something to consider while working on these projects. Spent too much time this morning debunking one of their images. #selfappointedexpert #arbiteroftruth

Been watching the Mae Martin show "Wayward" and F me if Alyvia Alyn Lind isn't the spitting image of a young Denise Crosby.

Michelle Phillips, best for her role as Picard’s old flame, Jenice Manheim, in the Star Trek TNG episode “We’ll Always Have Paris” (1988).
