So increasing the minimum wage to a livable wage is “socialism”?

But Amazon union busting, keeping wages low, and forcing workers onto public assistance while its founder increases his net worth by $7.9M an hour is the "free market"?

Perhaps this could be a WaPo opinion piece.

This news truly breaks my heart.

We are calling on HHS to take immediate action. Secretary Kennedy needs to bring back weekly measles tracking from the CDC, rehire the health experts, and roll out a serious vaccine campaign. Our kids' safety is on the line!

There’s always a pattern, a thread, bread crumbs… and they all lead to deepening and filling the current administrations pockets and those of their most loyal oligarchs
Trump is reportedly looking to shrink the FDIC and consolidate it into other govt agencies.

The FDIC was created during the Depression to protect bank deposits.

This would come after Trump and DOGE shuttered the CFPB, which protects us from financial fraud.

See the pattern?

Trump & Musk are trying to fire 100,000+ civil servants right now - including over 1,000 VA employees.

Purges are happening at SBA, Energy, Education & more.

Firing this many critical employees at once could make it impossible for our government to provide BASIC services.

Cause not enough of them do their own research or are willing to stand up to the b*llshit swirling around them.
They’re just shocked after the fact?!
GOP Senator Roger Wicker on Pete Hegseth’s NATO speech:

“I don’t know who wrote the speech — it is the kind of thing Tucker Carlson could have written, and Carlson is a fool.” Wicker (who voted to confirm Hegseth) told Politico, adding that he was “puzzled” and “disturbed” by Hegseth’s comments.

We could permanently house 800 homeless veterans for $40M. Or provide five million meals to the hungry. Or replace lead pipes in 8,500 homes.
