After “schlepping” these dolls around the country for 70 years, they finally have found a home in Faylee’s museum!!! The Rocking Horse Gallery! My mother was the toy buyer for Macy’s in NYC!!! What a treat to play dolls all afternoon & to know these treasures will be cared for and loved!

Brugmansia suaveolens, or Angel's Trumpet, is a tropical shrub known for its large, fragrant, trumpet-shaped white flowers that open in the evening. It is native to Brazil. The plant is highly poisonous due to alkaloids like scopolamine and atropine, and all parts of the plant are toxic!

I have dozens of drunk bees on my passion vines. Yes, bees, particularly bumblebees and carpenter bees, can become "drunk" from amount of ethanol from natural fermentation process, affects the bees' nervous systems and causes them to become disoriented, immobile, or even fall asleep on the flowers.

Found this Polyphemus moth, Antheraea Polyphemus , on my deck. It was staying like this for several min moving around a bit. I thought it was hurt. But then read that they only live a week! I think it must have just emerged as it was gone after about 10 min #nativeplants #inverts
