Nothing is more indicative of how authoritarian the political culture of the GOP has become than the fact that over the past few months its elected leaders have basically turned it over to an unelected rich guy who has threatened to primary them if they disobey orders. And no one has complained.

Akron police shot a fifteen year old on thanksgiving. I watched all 27 minutes of the body cam footage. Seems sus. Two officers had rifles.

Ohio State Wexner Med Center released a statement about X on our intranet. It’s pretty innocuous and states they will continue to use X. The scientific community as a whole is very big on X. I’m hoping they move over.
