This is why the investigation into the death of Kumanjayi White- and all investigations into Indigenous deaths in custody - should be conducted by an authority with a deep understanding of racism from an Indigenous perspective, and at arms length from police.

Donald Trump’s reach and influence are impossible to ignore. But perhaps the public’s fascination with US politics in part stems from just how out of place Trump’s style would be in Australia’s system.
Trump thinks he runs the world. Australians might have something to say about that
Australians are avid consumers of US politics. But that doesn’t mean the vast majority are fans of the current president.

The NT government is doing nothing - literally nothing, with $180 million of federal funding already sent to help alleviate the catastrophic violence against Aboriginal women. This is murderous, cruel, lazy incompetence by the CLP.(See @australia.theguardian.com reporting.)
