Have you ever practiced “look”? This technique is used to have your dog look at you instead of whatever it is barking or lunging towards. Practice at home first! Get their attention- “dogs name” then “look” and when they make eye contact you treat. Small treats are best, or at feeding time!

Short outings in the car that your dog enjoys helps them not be so anxious for car rides. Take notes on the duration and things he/she may react to on the joy ride. Notes help you understand how to fix behaviors. I know I don’t remember EVERY detail! Lol! Even have a special training notebook. 🙃
