I went as a gender bent Pennywise for our neighborhood Halloween this year a few weeks ago, and the highlight of spooky szn was learning tonight that one little girl said she wanted to dress just like me next year (because girls can be scary too!)

I may be having a very hard time with everything, but I just finished a book I loved (The Staircase in the Woods), I have a cup of tea, and my cat is curled up on my heated blanket, so I guess tonight will be ok

Last year my wife had breast cancer and a double mastectomy.
This morning, for the first time ever, she was challenged in the changing rooms at the swimming pool. Her breasts were not what make her a woman - but, breasts or not, she is entitled to dignity and protection from vigilantes.

There's literaly an mRNA vaccine to treat pancreatic cancer in the works. It's shown promising results in a Phase 1 trial. Most people with pancreatic cancer are dead within 5 years. It's what killed Patrick Swayze.
