EcoFlex just went up. At one point during Covid, it was just shy of $1400 for ten gallons of silicone so still pretty good considering. Everything else is also getting more expensive, down to the freaking paper tape we use in the mail room. Overall costs have risen just shy of 20% in the last year.

Mr. Casper is getting older and having some kidney issues that will just continue to worsen. The goal is to make it easier on them. He wouldn't touch the prescription food and I don't blame him.

The sweet potato beds have been harvested. Unfortunately, the bed on the left had a visitor that went unnoticed until today. The whole bed had just six tatters in it. And lots of mostly eaten bits strewn about the bed. It was dug up! Most of the yield came from the bed on the right. Little bastard!

Any adult novelty nerds out there? This is the brand new Cthulhu! This particular one is the Medium size in periwinkle to lilac shifting colors. Yes, the large is absolutely huge, coming in at nearly 3 pounds.

Radish number one! There's like, 50 more to pull up! Greens are edible and if eaten with the root, temper that spicy, peppery flavor just a bit. They take about 30 days seed to harvest.

Some pics at dusk from a few days ago. That's two 8x4 beds of sweet potatoes. I'm hoping for 100 pounds. The middle one is peppers and radishes which grow in 1 month, and the third is swedes with a massive basil bush that bolted, seriously bolted, in the middle. I'm gonna be thinning it on Saturday.

Zero luck with Neem. In fact if anything, it's actually killed some of my stuff. Don't @ me, it was diluted properly and done out of direct sun. Definitely don't use it on eggplant. Anyway, it's cool here tonight. Big ass basil plant there amongst the swedes.
