Hi! I'm Marco! I’m a retired chef & anti-fascist who studied culinary arts, world history, civics, & polysci. I now make adult novelties for a living.

I’m learning to grow food & as a person.

I paint, sculpt, woodwork, tinker, & enjoy problem solving.

No gods, kings, lords, or masters. EVER.
This is the Bjarg Mountain Dragon. A design by @excelddesigns.bsky.social and copy written by @bettybutch.bsky.social here's a few of the examples I made for listing pics. 3 sizes, the big one of which weighs in at 3.25 pounds of platinum silicone. It's got WINGS!

Big big argument on the book of faces over Little Free Libraries being stripped clean of their books, the contents of which are then sold in used bookstores. Having had this happen, twice now, my opinion on the matter is this. I bought the books for people to read, for free. I stamp them and...🧵

Both of my Grandfathers fought the Italian fascists & nazis. My mom's father went on to the Pacific theater, flying bombing & The Hump supply missions for which he received a medal for. They both went on to raise six kids. Both of them said the same thing, the only good nazi is a dead one.

Want an adult toy in Alabama? Legislators have made the choice for you, the answer is no. Similar to that wanker in Oklahoma, I'd love a look at all of their browser histories.

There was a brief moment in time I actually wanted a Tesla. You know, the very cool roadster that was made by Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning on a Lotus Elise. It was featured in 2003 on Discovery. They had a motorcycle too.

I will NEVER, EVER buy anything Tesla makes, ever.

For a minute there I was pestering @wired.com every time they posted something about getting on with their subscription. I asked a simple question under each of their posts, "Who did the Newhouse family, owners of Conde Nast - Teen Vogue, support in the 24' election?" Not once did anyone answer.

A thread on the rising prices. Yes, prices of goods rise with inflation. Inflation rises, in overly simplified terms, because the treasury prints more money than they have and the government/country is in, now, massive debt, which makes the dollar worth less and less. Usually its pretty gradual. 🧵

EcoFlex just went up. At one point during Covid, it was just shy of $1400 for ten gallons of silicone so still pretty good considering. Everything else is also getting more expensive, down to the freaking paper tape we use in the mail room. Overall costs have risen just shy of 20% in the last year.

Mr. Casper is getting older and having some kidney issues that will just continue to worsen. The goal is to make it easier on them. He wouldn't touch the prescription food and I don't blame him.

Lamb, rice, carrots, green beans, blueberries, apples, & a touch of olive oil w/ a phosphorus binder.

Around 1986ish, if there wasn't anything going on on a Saturday night, Shea Cineplex in Phoenix had Rocky Horror on EVERY screen for just $0.50. Popcorn was $10 but every Saturday, for at least a decade, it was sold out. People get dressed up, sing and dance, it was a blast. Tim Curry, is a legend.

The sweet potato beds have been harvested. Unfortunately, the bed on the left had a visitor that went unnoticed until today. The whole bed had just six tatters in it. And lots of mostly eaten bits strewn about the bed. It was dug up! Most of the yield came from the bed on the right. Little bastard!

This is fantastic. Low fi vibes with Snoopy and very subtle animation that fills the room with warmth.

Good evening groovy peeps. With SNAP and expensive AF groceries, I'm starting a Buying Club. I mentioned a few days ago about buying from Gordons or Restaurant Depot, which is a restaurant supply store. Most people dont have room for a 40 pound case of chicken, but buying like a restaurant is... 🧵

Initially I just wanted to doodle a tree with golden foliage, and in the end it turned into a page of botanical field notes or something along those lines. 🤭
