You disconnect from the internet so Windows doesn't install whichever drivers AMD pushed up to them. Everything is working on both OSs, but Windows was way more involved than it needed to be

On Cachy it was remove the nvidia package profile, swap cards, add the radeon packages, update grub, done. On Windows I had to go into safe mode, run DDU to remove the Nvidia programs, unplug from the network, reboot, install AMD drivers, reconnect to the internet
