Trudeau & Zelenskyy understand Trump quite well. In different ways, they reject "soft" interpretations of Trump's actions. In Trudeau's case, this means asserting the premise: "Trump is trying to destroy Canada's economy" followed by a reasonable interpretation as to "why" based on Trump's own words
Trudeau: "He talked about banking again today in a tweet, which doesn't make any sense because 16 banks are currently active in Canada holding about $113b worth of assets in this country... what he wants is to see a total collapse of the Canadian economy, because that'll make it easier to annex us."

Tijd inderdaad om Oekraïne op te nemen in de Europese Unie en samen een Europees Leger te vormen ter verdediging van onze normen, waarden en democratie.
In deze heel realistische speech legt Zelenski de vinger op de wonde: "De oude tijd is voorbij toen Amerika Europa steunde, alleen maar omdat het dat altijd al heeft gedaan."
Dit klopt helemaal, we zien het einde van de transatlantische relatie die sinds 1945 bestond.
