My specialist now requires a yearly referral from my GP to continue service. My rebuttal: "For my continued patronage I require 3 letters of referral from satisfied patients, a copy of all degrees and certificates he holds, and written explanations for any negative reviews."

Make congressman have yearly reviews like any other job. More than 2 consecutive failing grades it automatically triggers a special primary and election to replace them for the remainder of the term. If only one year is left someone is appointed by the state governor.
