This is your annual reminder to check your bills like TV/internet and see if you can save money with any service deals they've got going on. Just saved $20/month with Verizon Fios and they gave me Netflix and HBO for my troubles.

There's such a dearth of good local journalism, but I'm glad @51st.news exists, because this is what we would miss without them and others like them 51st.news/mount-pleasa...

Graduate seminar did a deep dive on Thomas Paine’s Common Sense yesterday. At the line, “in America the law is king,” they (14 students from 6 countries) burst out laughing. I've been doing this for 35 years and this is the first time that was a laugh line.

Each state can limit Citizens United in their own state & they don’t have to wait for other states to do it.

Natives in Hollywood would not be where they are today without this man. *I* would not be where I am today. He made the Sundance Film Festival & Sundance Native Lab I was in.

So much more than an advocate, he created space. He was one of the few who invested in our future.

"Jones defended the trade by ... arguing that the run defense provided by Clark could give the team a boost even in the short term. Dallas allowed 302 rushing yards in its season-opening loss to the Philadelphia Eagles."

RIP Graham Greene. Every time he popped up on screen when I was a kid, my mom would excitedly point him out for being an actual Native on the screen. Able to be deadly serious and infinitely hilarious (even in smaller roles like Last of Us), he ate up the screen. Nʌki’wah brother.
