If I'm in your store for 5 minutes and I get asked how my day is by 4 different people I'm gonna flip out. I know it sounds ridiculous but there's such a thing as politeness overload. I just want to buy something I'm not here to socialize.

If you're having a conversation with someone about SNAP and they don't think it should be a benefit for people, ask them if they believe corporations should receive subsidies. If they say yes...
“SNAP is a subsidy to low wage employers” isn’t a compelling argument once you get past the surface, but SNAP payments are definitely an important part of the revenue of grocery retailers and without that we should assume that their already escalating prices are likely to escalate more.
