Missouri’s urban centers (St Louis, Kansas City) are reliably blue, as is a center-state college town. But this next redistricting push will likely take a blue seat away from Kansas City by squishing it into funky shapes.

Speaking as one of the 40%, easier said than done. We’ve been gerrymandered to hell and back for years, and that’s BEFORE the current chaos. People forget Missouri had democrats in state-wide office as recently as 2019. And when that happened, the national dems gave up on us.
