Aura Shards and Seedborn Muse made Emiel oppressive while Gylwain forced me to look up the roles. I was always underwhelmed when I realized what he did.

As a nonbasics junkie, I used to use every nonbasic I had, then add basics to 40. There is just no good reason for this, so I am slowly going through decks to bring them all to at least 50% basic lands.
Between nonbasic hate and games where opponents let me search for basics, it just makes sense.

Played our semifinal floor hockey game tonight in 35 degree weather against the #1 team in the league. I scored 3, including one with 3 seconds left to tie the game, 3-3. Overtime settled nothing so off to a shootout. Our goalie was invincible, stopping all 6 shooters. Our 6th player scores to win!

Running my biggest program of the year at work today. 111 people here and another 200+ online. So far, everything is going smoothly! And with last night’s Magic game going late, I’m running on 3 hours of sleep!

Played 8 games of Zombie Dice with a very hyper 9 year old niece. I believe I’m 2-6. Apparently I don’t shake the dice hard enough (according to her).

Got in a great Commander game last night! Ragost did great things but ran out of steam at the end. My friend played my Gale deck and just would not be killed. The deck showed more resilience that it ever did when I played it! He was eventually taken out but fought valiantly to the end.
