I'm usually low-grade depressed at all times, but I feel great today. Sometimes you don't realize how sucky depression is until you have one good day where the brain chemistry is actually working. I can't believe people live this okay all the time. it's nice.

I was thinking about going to the movies yesterday to get out of the heat, but there were nothing but sequels and remakes showing and I just have no faith that I would understand what's going on in "Ballerina: this is a John Warwick film which I think means people get killed because a dog died"
one of the most incomprehensible to me things that a lot of people appear to believe about pop culture is that a bad movie can be made good if its supplementary material is good, or that it is somehow OK to make a movie that demands you to watch hours of other material to make sense
