I didn't think I had an accent until I went to Chicago and everyone there, after two minutes of hearing me speak, said "you're from California, aren't you?" and I was all, like, "Duuuuuude haaaw'd ya knoooooow?"
I had an English prof in college identify which part of Ohio I was from, and up until that moment I genuinely believed I had no accent.

I've had 3-foot-long hair for my whole life, and on my birthday I decided to cut about a foot of that off. Now I see why people love layered haircuts so much; it already feels much lighter, but it's thick at the bottom and makes a triangle shape. I think I need some layers to take the weight off...
