he loves looking at her. The way her head tilts when she's lost in her thoughts. How her eyes flash hot and sharp at his teasing. The soft, sweet scent of her skin as she lays against him in the dark. She thinks she wakes as a new being everyday. That she drops one life and dons another as the sun crests the horizon. She doesn't. Not in his eyes in any case. There's something about the way her bones fit together and how the muscles and tendons stretch elegant webs between. The breath in and out of her lungs. The steady thrum of her heart. He knows her. No matter her face or body. Affected mannerisms. Accents. He sees her there. Always. The warmth in his chest expands to think on it. He would know her anywhere. He could choose her out of a line up of doppelgangers. Her scent, her warmth, her eyes, the feel of her in his hands... On his tongue. He knows her as well as if she were carved whole from his own flesh. As though she were a missing piece of his own soul. Felix doesn't know many things. He hasn't read many books or visited great libraries. But what he does know he knows deep down into his bones, her name indelible on each rib and finger, each and every cell of marrow. And he knows her. Always. Forever. What it *means* he can't say. Forever is a long time though. He'll figure it out.

The scorching heat of him spins her head like drinking a half bottle of wine in one go. His lips wander away from hers, travel down her throat and across a pale shoulder. Each touch of his mouth burns as though he is a living gout of flame; each kiss a drifting spark settling possessively on her skin. she tangles her fingers in his hair, seeking purchase against the wild thrill building inside. delicate claws of spun crystal rip and tear at her simple dress, drawing it open to reveal flawless beauty flushing in anticipation. The contrasting temperature of his mouth and hands, hot warmth and cool smoothness, sends chills racing across her skin in waves at his touch.
