I want my the front-end for FBB to be able to be offline/local first and to easily manage consistency. github.com/Braden1996/r... seems it will solve my problems as I'm going to implement replicache :)

Beginning with not letting the spectre of not-invented-here creep in. I'll be kicking it all off with @clerk.com handling the auth. You'd be mad to roll your own auth in 2024, and they already support Expo on React Native. And I'm here for it

I'm going with React Native + Rails back-end for FattyBoomBoom. I could do almost anything here on the back-end: Fastify (Node/TS), Flask (Python), Spring (Java), Elysia (Bun/TS), Gin (GoLang), but despite all this, I'm coming back to the ease of Rails and ActiveModel.
