Yes, TikTok didn't feel like a garbage app. The algorithm felt super intentional which promoted thinking. It wasn't just consuming content but was causing a lot of people to take actionable responses & that's probably a part of why it was banned.

Today is hard... my family lost 4 beautiful 4 legged souls, today. The week before Christmas, my dogs jumped my privacy fence and chased a drone into my neighbors yard and wouldn't come back... they had never seen alpaca before... they killed all 3. They got put down today. I wish that I could have

Yeah, I'm not doing the Red Note thing. Why? The law removing tiktok is worded in such a way it will be easy for the government to continue banning apps from outside the U.S. I'm not building up on an app that would be the next domino to fall. I'm not dealing with this loss again if I can help it.

I think I'll return to my old activism, but with a new style. I'm still 100% pro-revolution, but perhaps this time I'll talk less about the problems and more about what should be the root of the solutions.
I don't know though. I might instead keep my head low and share encouraging words instead.
