"Talks excessively" my teachers would write on my report card. Now I speak up for others, break barriers, join a few boards, and publish over 15 books. Professional Wanderer & Volunteer.

“Promised myself some time ago that I was turning my “what ifs” into “remember whens” and I’m doing it.
As a creative and someone who has been in tech for over 9 years, I think AI art is a big no no! It doesn't invalidate human art; it's just super icky because it couldn't exist without the real art that someone put their sweat and tears into in the first place.

It seems that the people who have audacity to go for their dreams relentlessly get opportunities. There are so many talented and intelligent people who think that opportunities are just going to knock on their door. That's not how it works. No one is going to believe in your dreams for you 🌿 🌿

I hope in the future when we wrest back the govt from the current regime, we put up some guardrails to stop politicians from just defunding vital govt programs with no rhyme or reason

As MLK Day approaches let's remember that he didn't die or natural causes. The hate that existed when he was killed still exists today. Until we all see color in the right ways things will never change. ✌🏿 🌎 ❤️

If believing in myself is delusional, I'm delusional all 2026 and beyond. 2025 doesn't owe me a thing but I'm betting on myself all 2026. Can't call it inspirational either if I have all the tools to make the things I want, happen. Only watering what I want to grow this year. 🌿 🌿 🌿

One of my super powers (after 7 years as an EA) I go places and take notes verbatim on my phone or writing. It actually helps me digest what I'm hearing and sort it. My notes app is a library at this point. Sometimes it may look like I'm sending a text but I'm taking very detailed notes. ✌🏿 🌎 ❤️

I think one of the wildest examples of irresponsible and unethical capitalism is one electric provider was raffling off free electricity for a year. The comments were full of hopeful people cheering. I scratched my head in confusion and thought, "Affordable would be a nice option for everyone."

I could never be in sales. I'd probably be terrible at it. "You want me to sell this thing that isn't a need to someone while so much is going on all at once?"

"Can we just give people food?"

Not Americans using AI to determine if something was AI or not. Meanwhile, Finland is teaching their 6 year olds how to spot misinformation. ✌🏿 🌎 ❤️

Already signed up for my first volunteering experience this year. I treat tackling my goals as if it was a sport. I hang this up on my desk and I get excited to be in competition with myself all year.

If we had at least adequate mass transit throughout the US, we wouldn't have to worry about road conditions. The dream is to step out the house and not need a car. ✌🏿 🌎 ❤️

"Associate to the front to unlock the formula cage. " - Walmart intercom

That sounds so dystopian. I will never get used to that. The question shouldn't be why are people stealing formula but why can't people afford formula. ✌🏿 🌎 ❤️

Netflix is breaking up their shows like this because subscribers would cancel after binging their shows. Netflix created binging culture and they hate the very thing that they created. Wild! ✌🏿 🌎 ❤️

Every month it feels like a surprise but every month there always seems to be a problem with quality of service. Getting less for more feels like robbery. ✌🏿 🌎 ❤️

Fun fact: New York Subways and Chicago trains still run in the snow. Kind of feels like public transportation is quite the investment. "It's too much money," is a terrible excuse. ✌🏿 🌎 ❤️

"I don't understand why people should get free Healthcare. I always had to work for mine." - A constituent

It's a failure of morality if the generations before you want you to go through the same obstacles that they did. ✌🏿 🌎 ❤️

If you judge countries on how big their military is, that shows that you stand for war more than you stand for peace. ✌🏿 🌎 ❤️

ICE raids are cruel, inhumane, and do nothing to serve public safety.

My responsibility is to be the mayor to each and every person that calls this city their home. That includes millions of immigrants— of which I am one.

Cyber Monday deals on groceries feels dystopian because what do you mean the groceries could've been affordable in the first place?

Less pollution, less car wrecks, less reliance on gasoline, less carbon footprint but the American Government is so pro money that they've lost the plot and it's not giving pro people. ✌🏿 🌎 ❤️

Can we call any public transportation company successful if it still leaves communities out and we don't see measurable outcomes like less cars on the road? Imagine an incentive to catch public transportation.

I didn't get a car until I moved from NYC and had a taste of better public transportation. I was in awe. Even when I was in Minneapolis I was amazed at the heated bus stops.

Another day has passed and I don't understand why public transportation isn't a priority everywhere. Imagine a thriving city where peeps weren't reliant on cars. It's hard to imagine because lobbyists don't want this.
