Torn between enjoying being black and trying to fight the fight that my ancestors started. What's fruit if you can't enjoy the fruits of their labor. Also, how long is this fight? It feels like a lot of people didn't start caring for human rights until they got treated like Black People ✌🏿🌎❤️

Whatever you do today, just be safe. Spread kindness and realize that there are so many people on edge. Give yourself grace but also give others grace. Right now when the country is very much so full of hate, that kindness goes a long way.

I'm not a morning person. In fact I wish mornings happened well after 12pm. Sometimes though I get out of bed just in the name of creativity. I thrifted this dress because it reminded me of Minnie Mouse. Life is boring without a little whimsy. ✌🏿🌎❤️
