This is my concern with Amazon’s new Bond directed by Denis Villeneuve. It’ll be gritty and look amazing. But I don’t think it’s going to be at all silly or fun.

And it doesn’t get more Bond than Brosnan escaping certain death by jumping from a hovercraft onto a handy ringer and quipping “saved by the bell”.
