Slowly shaking my head at governments and corruption.
@mrjamesob.bsky.social listening to catch after a night shift.
Can we just all acknowledge what an excellent speaker your caller Mark was. He put what's happening in the UK so brilliantly. This is why your show stands tall

need some guidance
I left Twitter once Musk made it a cesspool. Struggling with the rest of them(except here)

Firstly how do u do it?

Do I leave social media as getting fed up with the fake news etc.

Or do I stick it out and correct them?

We need to see the law changed, so that employers and workers know when action must be taken to keep workers cooler and safer. Add your name. www.megaphone.org.uk/petitions/we...
We need a maximum working temperature
Every summer, temperatures are rising and working in prolonged heat and sun can be dangerous. It can cause a number of health concerns, from dehydration and dizziness to the most serious of illnesses....

listening to the latest podcast. From an avid fan. Do not ever apologise for your podcasts. Even the famous Tshirt one 😉
Was the Gaza on a good listen? No and it shouldn't be. Without discussing the horrors taking place there, it will continue. Keep up the excellent work

Absolutely damning.

Seems that the British government made not attempt to find out if the Russians had interfered in the EU Brexit referendum.
In case you missed it ...
Here's a damning verdict from the Intelligence & Security Committee regarding Boris Johnson's half-baked report into Russian interference in the Brexit ref. Basically, they didn't even bother looking for any! Surely now it's time for a public enquiry into Putin's Brexit!

Thought there was a massive cosplay event yesterday in London. Loads dressed up as farmers who aren't. Look at Farage. Wonder if he dressed in a tracksuit or stone island gear during the riots.

The Tories did NOT implement recommendations of the Prof Jay report into child sexual abuse

Whitehall estimated compensation costs at £5-10 billion!

Badenoch was Children's and then Women & Equalities Minister. DIDN'T mention "grooming gangs" in House of Commons once in all her 8 years as an MP!!

@mrjamesob.bsky.social after today's mega topic. Listened live. Felt reassured by Starmer and his response. So much so that I'm listening to the catch up from today. To really fully understand what has transpired. Musk is a non typical bully. He's not physical. He uses his ignorant followers.

Used to love Twitter before Elon took over.
Cannot be a part of a place where hate speech is so openly promoted, and Ok'd by the owner of the platform

King Charles inherited £650m tax free, gets £125m a year tax free from the tax payer and has an estate worth £22bn that’s never taxed.

But he still needed a 45% pay rise.

Like if he needs a pay cut.

Today's realisation is you can never convince some people of the fact they've been brainwashed into feeling sorry for the rich. Whilst ignoring the poor or persecuted. Need to stop trying to rationalise with idiots.
